On an annual basis, Van Iperen receives and markets thousands of tons of grain from a large number of growers. This grain is primarily from our suppliers from the regions of Hoeksche Waard, Voorne-Putten, IJsselmonde and the island of Dordrecht. The grain is mainly taken by tractor and trailer to our collection depots distributed throughout the region. We also offer the possibility of collecting the grain by container directly from the growers’ land.
Due to our own large storage capacity, we are capable of separately storing and marketing various varieties and qualities of grain.
Below are some of the routes our grains take:
- via the cattle feed factory to nutritious concentrates for healthy cattle in tip-top condition;
- via the flour mill to the bread baked by the village baker according to traditional methods;
- via the malt-house to a delicious glass of beer.
